「国旗」はもちろん the national flag。

英会話学校に通っている方は、こういうテーマでディベートの練習したりするのかな。
不思議ですねぇ、旗とか歌って。
アメリカの小学校だと、教室に国旗があって、国歌を毎朝歌うんですよね？

私自身は、日の丸や君が代で愛国心が養われた気はしないんですけど…。
なにしろ子供時代、小学校の卒業式などの日の丸は「箔づけ」だと思い込んでいました（笑）
